Save money and guarantee a spot when you book parking at least 3 hours in advance
If you plan to park at Newark for more than 30 days in any lot, you should contact ABM at +1 (973) 961-6421 or +1 (973) 961-6422 once you arrive to the airport to register your vehicle. You will need to provide your name, license plate number and the estimated number of days you plan to be parked.
Any vehicle that does not register with ABM Parking and is parked more than 30 days will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Shuttle from the Parking Lot P6
We offer a complimentary shuttle bus that operates between P6 and terminals A, B, and C. The shuttle bus arrives approximately every 10 minutes.

Ways to pay
There are several convenient ways to pay for parking. You can use a credit or debit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express), E‑ZPass, or contactless payment options such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay. For a faster exit, use your credit or debit card at an Express Pay machine.
Pay for parking with E-ZPass Plus
You can also pay for airport parking with your E‑ZPass tag. E‑ZPass Plus is available if you:
- Have registered for E‑ZPass Plus on the E-ZPass Plus website opens in a new tab
- Linked a valid credit card to your E‑ZPass account
Commercial account holders should contact their Customer Service Center to activate E‑ZPass Plus.
How it works:
- Entering the lot: Use the lanes marked with purple E-ZPass signs. Drive up to the gate and wait for the arm to rise. This may take up to 20 seconds. Do not pull a ticket.
- Exiting the lot: Your E-ZPass tag will be read at the exit plaza if you accessed the parking facility used an E-ZPass entry lane. Your account will be charged at posted parking rates.
- Payment: If your fee is $20 or under, it will be deducted from your E-ZPass account balance. If the fee is $20 or more, it will be charged to the credit card linked to the E-ZPass account.

Premium Parking
Premium parking spaces are available to ensure you are closer to your terminal. These dedicated spaces are in each parking garage and you must make the reservation in advance online.
Parking for travelers with restricted mobility
Parking spaces for travelers with disabilities are available in each short-term parking lot near the terminal entrances, but are subject to availability. Vehicles that are parking in disability spaces must prominently display a non-expired, state-issued ADA license plate, placard, or permit. Violators will be towed.
A courtesy discount is available to customers with official, non-expired, state-issued ADA license plates, placards, or permits.
- The discount cannot be used with prebooked reservations or E-ZPass Plus payment.
- Do not enter via E-ZPass lanes. You must enter through the ticket lane and pull a ticket.
- Upon exit, press the HELP button to speak with an attendant. They will validate your ADA tag and adjust your fee to reflect the discount.
- The discount applies only after a minimum parking duration of 4.5 hours.
- Charges are incurred in 30-minute increments before reaching the daily maximum
- ADA accessible spaces can’t be reserved. Premium reserved parking area are the next most convenient spaces if all accessible parking spaces are full.
