Deaf or Hard of Hearing Services

American Sign Language (ASL) services

EWR provides free on‑demand American Sign Language (ASL) video interpreting through Convo Now. This service helps Deaf and hard‑of‑hearing travelers communicate easily with Airport Customer Experience Specialists (ACES).

To use it:

  • Find an ACES wearing a red shirt near an Information Center on Level 1 (near Baggage Claim) of each terminal.
  • Scan the QR code they provide to connect with a live ASL interpreter in your browser.
